Dhanolti Diary in Mussoorie

Dhanolti is popular hill station of Mussoorie but This place is District of Tehri Garhwal,Uttarakhand.This place is 31km from Mussoorie and 66km from Dehradun.The Height of Dhanolti is 2286m above sea level.There is peaceful environment.You can feel the cool atmosphere of that place cold winds,cool bizzare,calmness.There so much clouds move here and there in summer and snowfall happens in winter definitely.You can see the Garhwal himalayan range from there.Its clearly view from Surkunda Temple.

2.Surkunda Devi Temple
This is famous hindu temple of Dhanolti where worship of goddess  Sati and The Lord Shiva.This temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeeth in India.It is located at the top of Dhanolti.The height of temple is above 2700m above sea level and 6.5km from Dhanolti at Chamba-Mussoorie road.You have to reach the temple by foot.The trek distance is 2km of steep climb's stairs from Chamba- Mussoorie road.When you reach then you can see the 360 degree attractive view. You can see the Garhwal Himalayan view from there clearly.
