UDAIPUR : CITY OF LAKES

Udaipur is a district of Rajasthan.It was founded in 1553 by Maharana Udai Singh II.This place is famous for Lakes.

1. LAKE PICHOLA
It is a Artificial Fresh Water Lake.It was built in 1362.This place is very beautiful and famous for Serene Beauty.If you want to wandering in the lake then you have to take boat ride.
Boat Charges:- Rs 340(adult),170(childrens)
There are two places situated in the middle of lake pichola.
(i) Lake Palace/Jag Niwas/Taj Lake Palace:- It is luxurious hotel famous for romantic view inside the premises and Splendid Architecture.It was built in 1743 by Maharana Jagat Singh II.
(ii) Jag Mandir:- It is place built on an island in  lake pichola.It is also known as Lake Garden Palace.The construction of the palace was started in 1551 by Maharana Amar Singh continued by Maharana Karan Singh (1620-1628) and completed by Maharana Jagat Singh I (1628-1652).It is also known as Jagat Mandir in the honour of last named Maharana Jagat Singh.

Both places famous for royalty built by royal family.
How to reach? :- There is no entry fees but you have to give boat charges for Speed Boat Ride.
Boat Charges :-

Rs. 350 (adult) ,Rs. 165 (children)	1 hr.
Rs. 225 (adult) Rs. 115(children)	30 min.

2. CITY PALACE

This Palace famous for beautiful architecture and royalty. It was built by royal family (mewar dynasty) and completed in 16th century.It is located in the bank of the lake pichola. The museum available in inside the premise.Traditional Photo shoot also available inside the premise. 

There charges are different.

Outer Premise	Rs. 30 (Adult),Rs.15(Children)
Inner Premise(Museum)	Rs.300 (Adult), Rs.100(Children)

3. SAHELIYON KI BARI 

It is very beautiful garden.When you enter the premises than you can see the greenery,lawns.It is also known as in english The Courtyard of Maids or Garden of Maids.It was built by Maharana Sangram Singh for her princess and accompanied by maidens.

Entry Tickets :- Rs.10

Timing:- 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

4. MONSOON PALACE (SAJJANGARH PALACE)

It is very amazing place at the height of 944m from sea level.It is located at the peak of bansdara mountain.It is famous for beautiful architecture,serene beauty and nature beauty.when see from the peak then you can see the whole city with lakes and you can see clouds moving everywhere at the same height.

5. BAGORE KI HAVELI 

It is place where traditional and cultural show activity happens inside the premises.This place situated at the bank of the lake pichola.

Show Timing :- 10am to 8pm

Visit Duration :- 1hr.

Entry Tickets :- Rs.100 

Camera not allowed.You have to pay for it.

6. JAGDISH TEMPLE 

It is a hindu temple of vishnu ji at the middle of udaipur.You can spend  their time upto 1hr.There is no entry fee.

Timing:-4:15am-1pm and 5:15pm-8pm

7. SHILPGRAM

There is traditional rajasthani culture ,arts and crafts complex.But when you come in between 21dec-31dec.You can see the Annual Festival,shilpgram fair,shilpgram mela

Timing:- 11am-7pm

Entry Ticket:-Rs.30(adult and child) , Rs.50(Foreigners)

8. MOTI MAGRI (PEARL HILL)

It is located at the hill near Fateh Sagar Lake.It is memorial place of Maharana Pratap who is the hero of mewar rajputs.There is a 11ft. statue of Maharana Pratap built with his favourite horse 'Chetak'.

Timing:- 9am-6pm

Entry Tickets :- Rs.20(adult) , Rs. 10(child)

Light and Sound Show Timing-8:15pm-7:30pm 

Tickets :- Rs.35 (adult & child)

9. VINTAGE CAR MUSEUM

There is a lots of luxurious vintage cars of mewar royals.

Timing:- 9am-9pm

Entry Tickets:-Rs.250(adult) ,Rs.150(child)

10. FATEH SAGAR LAKE 

It is also artificial fresh water lake built by Maharana Fateh Singh in the 1680s.It is very beautiful place amd famous for Serene Beauty.You can go for freshness,relaxation here.It is reservoir.There is no entry fees but timing is 10am to 5pm.You can also enjoy various types of boat ride in the lake.
